Our Story

About Us

Where Petals
Meet Plates

The Florist’s Kitchen is a Harlem-based culinary and floral design studio that blends modern Caribbean cuisine with intentional floral artistry to create immersive, culturally rooted experiences. Founded by chef and florist Nichole Fraser, the brand brings together two sensory languages—food and flowers—to nourish, inspire, and connect.

What began as small, curated dinners in Nichole’s home kitchen has evolved into a sought-after brand known for its aesthetic sensibility, soulful presentation, and deep reverence for heritage. The studio has become a destination for intimate and corporate events, community activations, content collaborations, and bespoke gifting experiences that celebrate culture through scent, taste, and design.

A Modern Take on Caribbean Flavor

The Florist’s Kitchen specializes in modern Caribbean fare—an approach that honors traditional Jamaican flavors while elevating presentation and incorporating global culinary techniques. Signature dishes include slow-braised oxtail with roasted root vegetables, jerk chicken reimagined with tamarind glaze, callaloo tartlets, plantain crisps, and coconut-scented rice.

Each menu is designed to reflect the warmth and soul of the Caribbean, with a focus on seasonal ingredients, balanced spice profiles, and refined plating.

Floral Design With Intention

Floral work at The Florist’s Kitchen is not an afterthought—it is a core part of the brand. Every arrangement is guided by the principles of color theory, texture, and cultural symbolism. From lush tropical centerpieces featuring orchids, heliconia, and monstera to minimalist arrangements that pair Caribbean flora with modern vessels, each bouquet is crafted to complement the space and mood of the event.

Chef & Florist

Meet Nichole Fraser

My roots are planted in two worlds—one where petals whisper stories, and another where flavors hold memory. In The Florist’s Kitchen, those worlds entwine like jasmine on a summer breeze, creating a space where beauty is more than seen—it is tasted, touched, and deeply felt.

My mother once taught me that softness is a strength. That blooms can speak, and the scent of fresh bread can feel like a lullaby. My father showed me how food—when prepared with intention—can restore what the world tries to take. From them, I learned to honor both the flower and the flame.

The Florist’s Kitchen is my newest offering—born from the desire to cultivate not just events, but experiences. Whether I’m curating a candlelit table for two or designing floral moments for a corporate gathering, every detail is guided by a single question: Does it feel like care

Here, we celebrate the art of soft living—intimate settings, fragrant spaces, food that comforts, and florals that enchant. Rooted in my Jamaican heritage and nourished by the pulse of Harlem, The Florist’s Kitchen is where scent, flavor, and story come together.

It’s more than an event—it’s an atmosphere. A sensory love letter to all things warm, aesthetic, and intentionally made.

Welcome to The Florist’s Kitchen—where beauty is plated, petals are prayers, and every gathering is a chance to slow down, soften, and savor.
